Who lives their lives and relationships in The Gap?

Most of us do!

What is the The Gap?

The Gap is a very real place. It exists between the current level of meaning in our relationships and purpose in our lives and what we intuitively believe could be possible.

The Gap becomes evident when we look around and realize that no matter how okay or not okay our internal and external landscapes are:

  • We have the sense in our minds, hearts and souls that somehow it could be better.
  • We are aware that we have the potential to live with more authenticity and integrity.
  • We yearn to love more fully and deeply, to give and receive with more passion and deep caring.
  • We believe we are capable of leaping into our moments and days with more spontaneity, possibility and creativity.
  • We can see the other side, we just don’t know how to get there….to make that illusive “there”, our “here and now”.

Are you living in The Gap?

If you’re curious, ask yourself these simple questions:

  • Is there a part of my mind, heart or soul that yearns to experience something more in my relationships and life?
  • Are there wounds in my life that won’t heal? Pain that doesn’t ease?
  • Do I long for increased authenticity and intimacy with my friends, family and self?
  • Am I feeling a desire for a spiritual connection, or a stronger and deeper connection?
  • Are there hurdles in relationships and life I trip over again and again?
  • Even though I am thankful for my many blessings, could my life hold more joy, ease, spontaneity and peace?
  • Do I wish more moments held true purpose and value?
  • Do I wonder if I am being all I am created to be, doing all I am capable of?
  • Do I sense something is missing, perhaps something I cannot even name or grasp?
  • Am I searching for answers I never find?

If you answered YES to any of the above, you know what it means to live in The Gap. And (the best part), realizing you’re living in The Gap isn’t bad news, it is actually good news!
